DJ WHYIDODIS

A gig poster for DJ WHYIDODIS's summer 2026 shows. Commissioned to bring her season's dates and locations into one poster for social media promotion.
Built without an existing identity to work from, giving full creative freedom on direction. THE GOAL: create a world that embodied her artist persona, with a language distinct enough to carry into future releases.

PRINT WORK FOR A DJ

EXECUTION

DIRECTION & DESIGN

I built the identity from scratch, researching the artist's own world through her channels and vision boards as a direct read on her aesthetic. That became the real brief I designed against. The direction had to feel modern and unmistakably summer, while holding across two very different formats: a vertical poster and a square feed post. Pixelated floral halftones and a window-like lavender-to-sky gradient kept the piece from tipping into anything too polished or corporate.

EXECUTION

Typography Carried The Visuals With A Chrome, Script Logotype In Dusty Pink Played Against A Hand-Drawn "Summer 2026" Wordmark, Dimensional Enough To Catch Light Like Foil. The Schedule Itself Was Designed, Not Bolted On: Clear Leader Lines And A Clean Grid Kept Dense Tour Information Legible Without Breaking The Mood. What Stood Out In The Feedback Wasn't The Poster Itself, But That I'd Managed To Get Inside Her Head. The Work Felt Unmistakably Hers.
